What Is an ITEC Diploma?
An ITEC qualification in Hairdressing and Barbering helps people get into work with the added opportunity to travel the globe or own their own business. We are delighted to offer you our latest range of qualifications, ranging from level 2 to 4, developed by our industry experts, ensuring learners develop a selection of different skills and techniques. ITEC courses require practical and theory work with educators helping you all along the way. Practical and theory exams must be taken.
What career opportunities or progression options are available after completing the course?
All students are trained to a junior stylist level and, depending on your employer and their trade test requirements, you will be able to work in a hair salon. Please note that you cannot qualify without working in a salon. The opportunities are endless, with further education available through House of Colour and, in some cases, job placement within the group. You could travel the world, work on cruise ships, work in salons, manage a salon, become a salon owner, take part in fashion shows, work in film, or become an educator. This is the first step in your career. We also offer advanced courses if you wish to continue your education.
